Entrepreneurship Is A Good Career Choice, Says Retired Officer
Sixty-six percent of adults see entrepreneurship as a good career choice, and more than half of the world’s working-age population feels they have the ability to start a business. Bockarie Sama Banya, 40, isn’t just an aspiring entrepreneur; he’s actively building a business. Banya is the portrait of man who has defended Sierra Leonean interests at home. A retired Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) officer, who saw combat during the nation's long and brutal war, he went on to work in the military and security sector in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Sudan. A couple of years ago, Banya decided he wanted a change of career direction as he and his wife raised their young family.
